(black Spot) 14 inch batter PLEASE NOTE: The Evans "blue" 12, 13 and 16 inch heads are "as new". They have never been played on a session, practise or gig (they have been on my drums and tuned-in only). The 22 inch Evans Hydraulic Blue batter bass head is a brand new skin. The 22 inch Evans Genera EQ Resonant is also a brand new skin. It has a Sonor sticker on it which can be removed. The Remo Black Spot has been gigged on 1 occasion only for approx 3 hours (low volume stick and brush work) and could be classed as "near new". Why am I selling them? Tension it tight for a real thump or loose and slappy. Two plies sandwich a thin film of oil that suppresses unwanted overtones. This gives a fat wet sound. The oil decreases the sustain and enhances attack. These heads are increadibly easy to tune. The Evans Genera EQ Resonant Drum Heads produce a round sustain with strong upper mids that help assist projection. They are ideal for enhancing the tone of the drum, especially when combined with a 2 ply batter head such as the Evans Hydraulic Blue above. The Remo Weather King C.S. (black spot) (Controlled Sound) batter heads are single-ply Ambassador-weight heads with a 5 mil thick black or clear dot in the centre of the head. This combination offers a controlled, centered sound without undesirable overtones. These dual-zone heads have a combination of medium and heavy-duty drumhead characteristics. The outer area of the head's playing surface offers a midrange tone and sensitivity while the laminated center dot eliminates high frequency overtones and adds durability and tonal focus to meet the demands of many styles of music.
