It has laundry facilities and a small play area for children. With outstanding views over the water and to the mountains Coulmore Bay is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The area is ideal for bird watching with red kites having being reintroduced some years ago. Dolphins and seals can be spotted in the waters. Only 4 miles from the City of Inverness, capital of the Highlands, this is a perfect base for trips to the beaches of Rosemarkie and Nairn, historic Culloden and Fort George and romantic castles such as Cawdor and Dunrobin. Not forgetting of course Loch Ness and the magnificent Urquhart Castle where a sighting of Nessie may be possible! The village of North Kessock is less than a 5 minute drive away and has a hotel as well as a cafe, making this a good excuse for treating yourselves to a meal out. North Kessock also has a Spar shop with post office which is open till late. Prices range from £160 to £260 per week in peak season.
