Caravan at Coulmore, overlooking Beauly Firth, near Inverness in Inverness, Highland for sale

This caravan is situated on the Coulmore Bay Caravan park, which lies on the northern shore of the Beauly Firth, only a ten minute drive from Inverness. The park is quiet, with the sea to the front and a field and woods behind, and is a safe place for children to play. In the nearby village of North Kessock there is a grocer with Post Office, a café, and a hotel where meals are served. Within a ten minute drive there is a supermarket situated in a retail park which incorporates a wide range of shops. The caravan is in a superb location for exploring the famously scenic highlands, and for visiting many well known destinations such as Inverness, Cromarty, the Isle of Skye, and Ullapool, where a passenger ferry sails to the Western Isles. It is within easy reach of golfing, fishing, whisky distilleries, wildlife parks, and the many attractions to be found in Inverness, amongst which is a large aquadome which is hugely popular with children, as well as adults. Wildlife abounds; dolphins, seals, otters, and a wide variety of birds, including ospreys and the recently re-introduced red kite. One of the famous Moray Firth dolphin watching centres is situated only three miles away, and from the shore at Chanonry, about a thirty minute drive away, dolphins can be watched at very close range, leaping and tossing salmon. Near to this is Rosemarkie beach for swimming, children's play area, café, rock pools, cave, etc. Information on places of interest is provided in the caravan, and there is a tourist information centre nearby. This Willerby Granada 28 x 10 ft, 6 berth caravan is equipped to a high standard and comprises: • One double bedroom and one bedroom with twin beds • Shower room with toilet and washbasin • Well equipped kitchen; gas cooker with oven and grill, microwave oven, fridge, electric kettle and toaster • Spacious lounge/dining area, Freesat, DVD, DAB radio with docking station. Seating converts to a double bed • Pillows and duvets provided • Bed linen, towels and tea towels are not included but can be provided upon request, for an extra charge • Launderette with tumble dryers on site • Gas and electricity included PLEASE NOTE: The caravan is let on the understanding that it shall be occupied by no more than six people. Besides a launderette and a small children’s pay area, there are no other facilities or entertainments on site. Hire charges for 2012, inclusive of gas and electricity: June £215 July Aug £270 Duvets and pillows provided. Bed linen, towels and tea towels provided by prior arrangement at an extra charge of £25.00 per week for up to four people, and at £30 for more than four. Period Of Hire The period of hire is from 3pm Saturday to 10am the following Saturday. For short breaks, the same arrival and departure times apply to the days you have booked, except by special arrangement. Booking A provisional booking will be held for 7 days, to be confirmed upon receipt of a £75 deposit (if within 10 days of posting you do not receive an acknowledgement, please make enquiries). The balance of payment is due six weeks prior to the date of occupation. On receipt of the balance you will be provided with detailed directions and instructions for obtaining the key. Cancellation Insurance Once the deposit has been paid to reserve the accommodation, no refund will be given if the holiday is cancelled. The same applies to the balance of payment; no refund will be given if the holiday is cancelled. You are advised to arrange holiday cancellation insurance.
